NEW YEAR MESSAGE: TINUBU PROMISES BETTER NIGERIA TO BRING DOWN FOOD PRICES

Tinubu Meets APC Governors Amid Nationwide Protest Plans

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has delivered a New Year message to Nigerians, filled with promises of a better Nigeria. In his address, Tinubu acknowledged the country’s current challenges, including rising costs of living, high inflation, and under-employment, but reassured citizens that his administration is working hard to address these issues.

“We are aware of the difficulties many of you face, from rising costs of living to high inflation and under-employment,” Tinubu said. “But we are committed to building a fair and equitable society, where hard work and diligence are rewarded.”

Tinubu emphasized his administration’s efforts to improve the economy, security, and infrastructure. He highlighted the Presidential Power Initiative, which aims to deliver reliable electricity supply to homes and businesses.

“We are working tirelessly to improve our economy, security, and infrastructure,” Tinubu said. “Our Presidential Power Initiative will ensure that Nigerians have access to reliable and affordable electricity. This will not only improve our quality of life but also drive economic growth and job creation.”

The President also announced plans to implement a new national living wage for workers, boost agricultural production, and increase national productivity.

“We will implement a new national living wage to ensure that workers earn a fair and decent income,” Tinubu said. “We will also boost agricultural production, increase national productivity, and create jobs for our young people.”

Tinubu called on Nigerians to work together towards a brighter future, saying, “The job of building a prosperous nation is not the job of the President, Governors, Ministers, Lawmakers, and government officials alone. It requires the collective effort of all Nigerians, from all walks of life.”

He urged citizens to be patient, patriotic, and committed to the country’s development.

“I urge you all to be patient, patriotic, and committed to our country’s development,” Tinubu said. “Let us work together to build a Nigeria that is just, equitable, and prosperous for all.”

Reactions to Tinubu’s New Year message have been mixed, with some Nigerians expressing skepticism about his promises. However, others remain hopeful that his administration will bring about positive change.

“Election is over. It’s time for all of us to work together for the sake of our country,” said one commenter.

Another commenter added, “I believe in President Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria. Let’s give him a chance to deliver.”

As Nigerians begin the new year, they will be watching closely to see if Tinubu’s administration can deliver on its promises. Only time will tell if the President’s New Year message will be a reality or just a mere promise.
