Inter Milan have signed France winger Marcus Thuram on a free transfer after his contract with Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach expired.

Thuram, 25, is the son of former Barcelona and Juventus defender Lillian, who won the 1998 World Cup with France.

The younger Thuram played 134 games for Monchengladbach, scoring 44 goals in four seasons with the German club.

Thuram moved to the Bundesliga from Ligue 1 side Guingamp in 2019.

In April, Monchengladbach confirmed that the winger would not be renewing his contract, leading to the forward being linked with a number of European clubs across the past few months.

Thuram has made 10 international appearances for France, after making his senior debut for Les Bleus against Finland in November 2020.

He came on as a late substitute in the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which France lost on penalties to Argentina.

PULISIC SET FOR CHELSEA EXIT

The Daily Express reports that Christian Pulisic will leave Chelsea to link up with AC Milan, for a fee of around £20 million.

Inside report “Christian Pulisic looks set to bring his Premier League journey to an end with Chelsea. The English club has agreed a deal with AC Milan to see the American superstar join the Italian giants. Pulisic played just 24 times for the Blues in the EPL last season, and looks to be far from a starter with Chelsea having a wealth of options in his position.

“Pulisic is set to take a paycut to join the team, where he’ll be reunited with former Chelsea teammates Olivier Giroud, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori.

“Milan has agreed personal terms with Pulisic, with the two teams working on the transfer fee – reported to be around $25 million.”

Moreira signs for Chelsea

The winger, whose father Almami was a Guinea-Bissau international, joined Benfica from Standard Liege in 2020 and played an important role in the club’s 2022 UEFA Youth League triumph. The 18-year-old grabbed two assists in the final, which saw Salzburg defeated 6-0.

Moreira featured regularly for Benfica B last term having already made his senior debut. That came against Pacos de Ferreira in May 2022.

The winger is currently representing his country at the European Under-21 Championship and has featured against the Netherlands and Belgium.

LIVERPOOL AGREE SZOBOSZLAI

Liverpool will sign Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig for £60 million, the Mirror believes.

The story explain: “Negotiations picked up pace on Friday, a matter of hours before the player’s £60m release clause with the Bundesliga side elapsed. As the German cup winners sealed a season-long loan deal for Reds youngster Fabio Carvalho, Liverpool began negotiations with RBL chiefs over putting a deal in place for Szooszlai.
