Governor Fubara has commended the Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali for his outstanding and remarkable saves at the AFCON 2023 tournament.

Recall that Nwabali has only conceded 2 goals in the tournament, from Equatorial Guinea and South Africa. Nwabali has had 4 clean sheets in the AFCON 2023 competition, putting him in the position of becoming the best goalkeeper in the tournament.
Stanley Nwabali saved two penalties against South Africa to advance Nigeria into the final of the AFCON tournament.
Nigeria will play against Ivory Coast at the AFCON 2023 finals while South Africa and DR Congo will play for the 3rd place position.
