Trump Safe After Failed Assassinated Attempt in Florida

Former President Trump Injured In Assassination Attempt At Pennsylvania Rally 1

Former US President Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt at his golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida, but thankfully, the Secret Service thwarted the attack. The suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, of Hawaii, was arrested after fleeing the scene, leaving behind an AK-47-style assault rifle and other items.

According to reports, a Secret Service agent spotted Routh in bushes near the property line of the golf course, about 400-500 yards away from Trump. The agent immediately engaged with Routh, who then fled in a black Nissan car. Thanks to a witness who took a photo of the car’s license plate, law enforcement was able to apprehend Routh in neighboring Martin County.

This incident marks the second assassination attempt on Trump in just two months, following a previous incident at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump has since expressed gratitude to the Secret Service and law enforcement for keeping him safe, stating, “Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER!”

The attempted attack has sparked widespread condemnation, with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris both issuing statements denouncing violence. The incident has also raised concerns about the level of protection for Trump, who is guarded by the Secret Service as a candidate and former president.
