“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” Rick said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”
Details surrounding Adam’s death were not immediately known.
TheDrug Enforcement Agencylisted fentanyl as a Schedule II controlled substance “that is similar to morphine but about 100 times more potent,” and noted two milligrams (less than a grain of salt) of the synthetic opioid can be lethal depending on a person’s body size.
“He passed of an overdose,” a representative for Harrison confirmed to Fox News Digital on Friday.
“The family is greatly saddened at his loss and asks for privacy as they grieve.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that overdose deaths involving synthetic opioids (primarily illicitly manufactured fentanyl) rose 55.6% from January 2020 to 2021 and appear to be the primary driver of the increase in total drug overdose deaths.
