Historical overview of Vikings Vs Jets
The Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets are two of the best teams in their respective divisions. They’ve faced off against one another plenty of times, and have had some memorable battles over the years. In this article we will discuss the history of both teams and how they compare to each other.
Vikings Overview
The Vikings are a team that is known for their defense. They have a good passing game, as well as special teams (including an excellent kicking unit). Their coaching staff has also been rated highly by many critics and analysts in recent years.
Jets Overview
The Jets are a team in the NFL. They’re also known as the New York Jets, but I like to call them “the Jets” because it sounds better, and it’s easier to remember.
The Jets were founded in 1960 by Arthur J. Bell Jr., who wanted to bring professional football back to New York after the city’s previous franchise, the Giants (who moved across town), ended their run at Shea Stadium. The franchise currently plays at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey; this location is closer than any other stadium used by any other NFL team except for Green Bay Packers’ Lambeau Field which had been their home field since July 3rd 1955 when they moved from Milwaukee County Stadium where they played since 1923 (it was dedicated April 28th).
Early years
Both teams started off the season strong, but have struggled recently. Since then, both teams have had some tough losses and could still be in the hunt for a playoff spot.
The Vikings finished with an 8-7 record last year, while the Jets ended up with a 5-11 record. Both teams are currently sitting at 4-6 this season and would need to win out to make playoffs if they were to stay on track for 2018 as well (although there are still many games left).
Crushing it
The Vikings and the Jets have had a great start to their respective seasons. Both teams have won their first three games, but there is one major difference between them: The Vikings have a better record, with a 3-1 record while the Jets are 2-2.
The Vikings started off strong by beating the Chicago Bears on Sunday night in what many consider an upset win given that it was played at Soldier Field where home field advantage should be given to whichever team holds it (the Bears). The game was close until late in it when Christian Ponder threw an interception that gave Chicago possession deep inside Viking territory as they attempted to run out clock for good measure before halftime ended without any further scoring opportunities being scored on either side of them again[…]
The dark ages
The Vikings are known for their violence, but they also had a long history of being bad. In fact, the Vikings were so bad that they moved out of Europe and into America!
The Viking Age ended with the Norman Conquest in 1066 AD. This was when William the Conqueror became king of England after defeating Harold II at Hastings Castle.
The great comeback
At the end of the first half, the Vikings had a 17-16 lead. They went on to win 24-17 and make their fans proud once again. It was an amazing comeback!

Another comeback
The Vikings are a team with a lot of potential. They have young talent, they’re on the rise and they have experience. If you combine all of these things together, it makes them one of the most promising teams in all of football right now.
The Jets are also a good team but not as strong as others may think they are because they don’t have many players with much success on their resumes yet (Darnold). However, this doesn’t mean that their roster can’t get better over time through drafting better players or trading away players who don’t fit well into their scheme anymore (i).
They aren’t that good, but they aren’t that bad.
The Vikings have had an up-and-down season. While they have lost some games, they also earned victories over some of the league’s best teams in the process. The Jets are a similar story: although they may not be as good as their record indicates, there are still plenty of reasons for optimism about this team.
The Vikings and Jets both have some great players, but not all players can be winners at every position on their respective rosters (even though most people think so). For example: quarterback Sam Bradford has gone from starter to backup twice in less than two years; wide receiver Stefon Diggs was picked up by Minnesota after being released by his former team; running back Adrian Peterson hasn’t played since Week 1 because of an injury; left tackle Matt Kalil suffered another season-ending injury early last year…and these problems aren’t limited just to one player!
When looking at historical context between these two teams during 2018/19 season we see that while both have experienced success over time (or lack thereof), there were some differences between how well each team performed against each other during this period compared with previous seasons
It’s a close game, and it’s anyone’s game. The Jets are looking good on offense and defense, but the Vikings have shown that they can still be a tough opponent even when things aren’t going their way. This is one of those games where both teams could get lucky, so we’ll try not to say too much about who will win before kickoff tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m.. If you’re going to see any football this weekend (and who wouldn’t want to do that?), then make sure you stick around through halftime because there might even be some fireworks!
